Hotel Cheyenne gets downgraded. Under the old system, Cheyenne had access to a wider selection of restaurants. Under the new one, it sits at Essential. If you have a Cheyenne booking for after April 1st 2027 and the meal plan was part of your decision, check which restaurants you lose access to before confirming.
Character meals are Royal-only. Under the old system, Extra Plus included one character meal per stay. In the new system, all four character experiences (Auberge de Cendrillon, Royal Banquet, The Regal View, Table de Lumière) are exclusive to the Royal plan, which is only available at the Disneyland Hotel. If you want to eat with Mickey or the princesses and you’re not staying at the Disneyland Hotel, you’ll need to book and pay for it separately.
